Victoria BC Outdoor Boudoir Photography ~ universal conspirations

At the beginning of this year I set one of my main intentions to create more art just to create. To fill my cup through collaborative creations and working with other artists. This wonderful model and I connected through a Facebook group that brings local artists together. We woke up at the crack of dawn, and took our sleepy butts out to create magic. In my heart of hearts, I had dreamed of creating really dark and moody photos for this shoot - the weather said it was raining and I got us out early in order to catch the fog before it dissipated with the day. However, the universe and the indecisive Victoria weather had other plans. The sun was creeping over the horizon, and burnt away any fog that had been present.

However, sometimes the best art happens out of unexpected circumstances, and this session was no different. Changing creative gears, we were able to create some warm photos that really filled my heart up. It was so refreshing working with such a wonderful and positive babe! She was into trudging through some muck, way too early in the morning, in JANUARY, all for the sake of some naked art. A huge shout out to her awesome attitude!
